Anbima Fixed Income Award

The ANBIMA Fixed Income Award will enhance the best scientific papers on this subject, from issues related by ANBIMA - Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association. Students, academicians and professionals may participate, and SBFin - The Brazilian Finance Society, will grant the technical quality of selected texts. The cash award will be paid to the top three participants, besides publishing and distributing their work all over the financial market, universities and government agencies. When sharing these new ideas, ANBIMA, a self-regulatory organization, makes a contribution to the strengthening of Brazil’ economic scene.

• Price formation of fixed income assets.
• Profile of the term structure of interest rates and yield curve.
• Liquidity and secondary market of fixed income securities.
• Fixed income market operational structure: custody and negotiation environment.
• The monetary policy and its impact on the fixed income market
• Types of fixed income operations and their impact on the determination of interest rates.
• Regulation and self-regulation of the fixed income market.
• Risk measurement of fixed income positions/operations.
• Fiscal aspects of fixed income instruments, and their effects on allocation decisions.

Students, academicians and Brazilian financial market professionals.

PRIZES

Awards will be delivered at the Opening of the 10th Brazilian Meeting of Finance, to be held in July 2010.

RESULTS

Awards will be granted by a board of examiners, coordinated by SBFin. They will analyze each paper, to check their methods for preparation, and its quality content.
