Committees

In order to monitor the functioning of its systems and the financial markets in general, ANDIMA runs several committees whose members are the Directors of the Association and executives of its member institutions.

 IGP-M Consultative Committee
Created in July 1992 with the objective of accompanying the execution of the service agreement concluded in April of 1989 between the CNF and the FGV for the creation of the index. The Committee is responsible, among other things, for appraisal of the services performed by the FGV, based on the referred to agreement; accompaniment of the methodology adopted and for proposing suggestions for the improvement of the technical characteristics for determination of the index; and for caring for its maintenance and development.

 Operations and Ethics
Analyzes operating issues involving its member institutions, in keeping with the ANDIMA Code of Ethics, as well as applications to join the Association.

 Combined Operational and Ethics Committee - ANDIMA/Abrapp
Created in accordance with article 26 of the COE, for processes of reconciliation and judgment of lawsuits when at least one of the parties involved is a member of Abrapp

 Market Committee
Formed in the second semester of 2002 with the objective of accompanying the impact of the new SPB - Brazilian Payments System over financial intermediation.

 Monetary Policy
Analyzes Brazil's monetary policy and provides feedback to the Board in order to provide support for the market in this area.

 Macroeconomics Monitoring
Analyzes the economic situation and forecasts scenarios for the Brazilian economy over the short and medium terms.

 Asset Pricing
Discusses the secondary securities market in that which refers to the trajectory and consensus of prices. The Committee is formed from members of the institutions that compose the pricing sample of ANDIMA, divided between banks (dealers and non-dealers), brokers, and investment funds.

Studies and assesses product development opportunities for its members.

 Securities
Initially established to oversee the technical and operating aspects of Brazil's National Debentures System (SND - Sistema Nacional de Debêntures) it analyzes issues related to securities registered with the CETIP system.

 SELIC Consultative Committee
Created by the Association and by the Central Bank at the end of 2002 to evaluate the proposed alteration of the System elaborated by Demab/BC, having in view the improvement and modernization after the reformulation of the SPB.
